Coach Daniel 

Coach Daniel started off learning chess under Coach Santos and worked his way to teaching as a young chess coach! He started with Coach Santos as a student in the summer of 2021 and began coaching in the summer of 2023. He is as passionate as we are about helping students have fun with online chess the same way he has. He has taught two summer camps, a middlegame class, a tactics class, and a strategy class online.

On LiChess.org, he is approaching a 2000 rating having learned from Coach Santos' many tips and tricks.

Coach Daniel currently lives in North Carolina with his family and is pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management. Starting in the spring of 2025, he will be attending UNC-Greensboro online.
